The Sisters of DB Part 4
rag-dolly-anne and dissembled! Sarah's superheroine alter-ego, rag-dolly-anne, already has a persona drawn by Sarah herself (have a look in her gallery). This is my take on that, done in the Batman:TOS style. I wanted to give the costume the feel of a kind of doll-suit. One you climb into and which covers the whole of you. The small rips and tears were inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman costume which came apart at the seams as the movie went on and Selina Kyle got more and more out of control. Sarah wanted RDA to have an 'evil innocence about her. Naive but dark'. This is the look I've gone for... plus a veeery large axe which seemed the correct choice for weapon  Dissembled was also quite specific about what she wanted for her Superheroine costume. I've taken what she wanted and gone for a Xena type assassin look in burgundy leather with lots of lacing and a few chains  She also asked forsomething which sounded quite weird, but which after I drew it look kinda sexy! See if you can spot it! And I know... Becky got missed out again but I'm still talking to her about her costume! |
